Earning Freedom Shows a Better Path through Prison

If you or a loved one faces time inside of a jail or a prison, get Earning Freedom. This book helps readers understand how a deliberate, disciplined strategy can lead to more successful outcomes.

As a young man, I made bad decisions. When I was 20, I began selling cocaine.

On August 11, 1987, authorities arrested me in Miami. After a lengthy trial, the jury convicted me. A judge sentenced me to 45 years.

Leaders inspired me to change my life. As a result, I used my time in prison to earn academic credentials, to contribute to society, and to build a strong support network.

This book tells the entire story, showing how disciplined, deliberate decisions can lead a person from struggle to success.

About the Author

Michael Santos

I made bad decisions as a young man. They led me to prison with a 45-year sentence. With daily journals, I documented the journey. That methodical process led to a successful journey through prison and to building successful businesses upon my release. I created this journal to help other people prepare for success.

Who Would Benefit from Reading Earning Freedom?

I wrote this book to give readers an insight into the mindset necessary to succeed through challenging times. Too many people go into the prison system without an understanding of the best possible outcomes.

The culture of jail or prison has a bad influence on people. People that are new to the system do not know how to adjust. From staff members, people get a message that they’re beyond redemption. Other prisoners advise new prisoners to forget about the world outside and focus on the prison experience.

To succeed, through challenging times, a person needs hope.

Earning Freedom provides, showing how developing a stronger mindset can lead to new opportunities.
